Nothing, absolutely nothing, beats a backyard wedding. I got married in a backyard. And I think you should too. Okay, do whatever you want. But make it yours! What’s great about this wedding was that it was a celebration of love AND high school reunion all in one. It was also in my old neighborhood. So, good vibes all around here!

When I met up with Katie and Jake for coffee to chat about their wedding, I begging to be a part of it right from the start. They had everything figured out and an army of family to help make it happen. That’s my kind of doings! The big day was dotted with personal touches, family heirlooms, and lots of love. A big dance party that goes til the wee hours of the morning was just icing on the cake.
